Since they encountered a massive loss in their final league game, the Sydney Sixers failed to secure a home semi-final. Thus, they will be taking on the Melbourne Renegades at their home in the second semi-final of BBL 2018-19. The battle between number two and number three teams is going to be an exciting one.

Both the teams lost their previous match and that will nullify the confidence and momentum factors. They will need to start afresh and be at their best in order to enter the final game of the season. These two teams seem to be equally strong on the paper and it will be all about holding onto their nerves on the big occasion.

Pitch and Conditions

The pitch at the Docklands stadium is a slow one. Teams chasing have won two out of the three games in here edition of the BBL here at this venue.
