In their respective first games of the season, both Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Renegades bagged losses by good margins. While the Scorchers lost to the Sydney Sixers by eight wickets, the Sydney Thunder defeated the Renegades by 6 wickets. On Saturday, it will be the Marsh against Marsh clash. Mitchell Marsh-led Scorchers will be up against the Renegades which features his brother Shaun.

Both these sides have got some match-winners in their respective teams. Starting off well in the early parts of such tournaments is essential. Those few initial wins give the team a push to continue doing well in the later stages. One of these two teams is sure to open its account.
