The 22-year-old right-arm bowler Peter Hatzoglou made his debut in the shortest format of the game in the ongoing edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) only. The tweaker managed to catch the attention of a lot of cricket fans and experts with his ability of rattling the opposition batsmen.

Though his team Melbourne Renegades failed to make a mark in BBL 10 as they lost 10 out of their 14 matches and finished as the wooden-spooners on the points table with just 16 points under their belt. However, Peter shined with the ball as he scalped 17 wickets from 13 games at an average of 22.9 and economy rate of 8.27.

Recently, Australia’s veteran spin wizard Shane Warne was also in awe of Peter Hatzoglou as he heaped praises on the youngster and backed him to bag a lucrative deal in the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.
