The Pakistan Cricket is experiencing one of its toughest and resistant periods in its efforts of bringing the sport back in their home country. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are trying their best to host the game in the presence of millions of their home crowd fans who wish to watch the game closely in their natives. But the some of the teams including the likes of Bangladesh and India are still unwilling to play the entertaining game of cricket in Pakistan.

Pakistan have hosted many games this year, after being barred from hosting international cricket since 2009 terrorist attacks on the Sri Lankan team bus. They organised the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), then a World XI side consisting some of the big international names across the world came to Pakistan for the first international T20 series since 2009. Recently, the Lankans also visited the nation for a three-match T20 series in a beautiful gesture to support the revival of the game in the sub-continent.

BCB clearly refuses to play in Pakistan

Recently, the PCB announced a proposal of hosting ACC Emerging Cup at home which will involve all the junior players from all the cricketing Asian countries. But as per the reports from the Pakistani media, both Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have clearly refused to support this whole idea organised by the PCB.

The Indian Board has always been reluctant of playing any type of cricket against Pakistan in the past few years. It is also believed that both India and Bangladesh were not present in the meeting where the tournament was proposed.

The PCB member also stated that the board is ready to host the event at any cost. They will try their best to anchor the Emerging Nations Cup as a gesture for the revival of the sport in its home country.

“On 29th October, it was decided that Pakistan will host the tournament in the ACC meeting. But none of the members from Bangladesh and India were present,” said a member from the PCB as quoted by bd crictime. “We want to host the tournament at any cost. We will try our best to host the Asian Emerging Nations Cup,” the member added on behalf of the PCB.
