The sixth match of the ongoing Big Bash League took place between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Renegades, where the former thumped the latter by 145 runs. The match was in full swing, and commentators were up in high spirits, but something seemed to bother them a lot. The DJs blasted the vacant stadiums with such loud music that commentators had terrible times dealing  it.

Former Australian greats Bret Lee and Mark Waugh had had enough of the DJ’s and spoke against it right in the middle of the game. Live DJ set up isn’t a new introduction in the game, but the intensity of the music and intruding tunes have become real trouble for BBL fans now. The glimpse of it again came up on Sunday when DJs in Tassie ‘overstepped’ the mark constantly by playing loud music over the top of the live-action on the field.

The songs came in the air before the fielder could collect the ball and return it to the bowlers. However, Mark Waugh started by saying that he enjoyed the previous DJ a lot in Canberra in this BBL earlier.

“Gee the old DJ is a bit keen on getting the music on. That only just reached him, and he stuck the music on. Someone should tell them not to put the music on while the ball is still in play,” said Waugh on Fox Sports.

Renegades saw a horrible defeat in the sixth match of BBL

He again complained about the DJ when Renegades were caught in an embarrassing run chase where they ended their game on merely 60 runs. The loudness by the DJ can even disturb the performance of the players on the field. Bret Lee was much scathing of them from the podium and stated-

“Look at him, he couldn’t mix a cake. We saw recently, the worm went flat, but I reckon the DJ’s gone flat as well. I don’t know where they’ve gone those two blokes. They’ve just lost a bit of enthusiasm the boys,” Lee said.

The same things did round on social media when a reporter tweeted that Renegades ended the show too early and hence saved them all from loud DJ.
