Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt thinks Anushka Sharma would make a great captain

In a nation like India where Bollywood and cricket are considered nothing not as much as religions have dependably had a solid association. Especially the IPL has a very special connection with Bollywood, with many actors linked to the league in some or the other form. Big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Preity Zinta are now a piece of the grand league.

Alia Bhatt, who is busy promoting her film, Raazi stated that Anushka Sharma would be a great skipper, in one of the media interactions. When questioned on IPL and the actress’ opinion on a perfect women’s celebrity cricket team, Alia termed Virat Kohli’s wife, Anushka Sharma as a good captain.

The actress also said that Kangana Ranaut would be a wonderful all-rounder and Katrina Kaif due to her agility will be a key fielder.  “Anushka Sharma would make a good captain of the team with Kangana Ranaut as an excellent all-rounder and Katrina Kaif as the key fielder as she is extremely agile. I would name the team Chaan Mulgi,” the actress said as quoted by Pink Villa.

Meanwhile, Anushka, who has been occupied with her films, doesn’t pass up a great opportunity cheering for her hubby Virat when he is on a field. The couple celebrated Anushka’s birthday recently in Bengaluru where Kohli was busy with his commitments with RCB. Just after the completion of the match, the lovely couple enjoyed a decent celebration of the actress’ birthday.

RCB’s poor form:

Kohli hasn’t had a great season as RCB is almost out of the tournament. The star-batsman has also not performed up to his standards, in this edition of the IPL. Despite having a strong team, RCB lost 6 out of the nine games. RCB recently played against the table toppers, Chennai Super Kings where RCB lost by five wickets.  Umesh Yadav has been doing an amazing job with the ball, especially in the powerplay overs.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore will be facing Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next encounter. It would be a tough game for Kohli’s side as the SRH bowlers have been doing really well. Rashid Khan and Siddharth Kaul are amongst the top wicket takers this season.
