The Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered their third defeat of the season recently. Despite their skipper Virat Kohli scoring an unbeaten 92 in the game against Mumbai Indians, the RCB unit went down crashing by 46 runs. It was indeed disappointing to see a batsman scoring as well as Kohli end on the losing side. The fans sympathized with Kohli and the most recent addition to the list of people sympathizing with Kohli is Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon.

Raveena Tandon was very expressive about her admiration for Kohli’s knock. She took to micro blogging site Twitter to laud the efforts of Kohli in the run chase. Virat Kohli, who is hailed as the chase master, ran out of partners in the match and hence, was helpless in the run chase. Raveena rightly called him the ‘lone warrior’ in the match. Earlier, RCB head coach Daniel Vettori had also praised Kohli’s knock.

Here is what Raveena Tandon wrote in her tweet:

“My heart going out to @imVkohli like a lone warrior he battled on for his @RCBTweets team! Well played,” Raveena Tandon wrote in her tweet.

In the match, the Mumbai Indians had posted a huge total of 213/6 in their stipulated 20 overs. The target looked like an achievable one considering the fact that it was a batting belter at Wankhede. The way RCB started off their innings only strengthened these claims. However, once the opening stand between Quinton de Kock and Virat Kohli was broken, all hell broke loose on the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Quinton de Kock was the first to be dismissed and AB de Villiers perished in the very same over. The young guns like Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, and Washington Sundar played horrible shots to give away their wickets. Also, Corey Anderson played a terrible hit to bag a golden duck. Virat remained the lone warrior in the run chase to take RCB to 167/8 in their 20 overs.
