India defended their T20 title for blind successfully after comprehensively beating Pakistan by nine wickets. This was their second straight title and they won it in style. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat. They scored a commendable 198 runs in their 20 overs and the Men in Blue had a task on their hands. They dominantly chased it down with two overs to spare.

Prakash Jayaramaiah scored an unbeaten 99 while the captain Ajay Kumar Reddy scored a steady 43 to see India beat the formidable Pakistan side. India got off to an electrifying start. Prakash and the Indian captain put on yet another century stand as they helped them to a good start. Ajay then fell for 43 and in came the number three batsman Ketan Patel who had to sadly retire hurt on 26 but the in-form opener made sure India won the game.

Both teams were on a roll when they entered the final. India had won eight matches out of the nine only losing to the fellow finalists. But India beat them when it mattered and did the job. They received a lot of praise from all over the country and there were thousands of tweets flowing their way. Bollywood superstars like Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan congratulated the Indian team.

Shahrukh Khan was proud of the team even though he couldn’t watch the match. He termed them as “inspiring” and “awesome”. He even wanted to meet and hug them. While Hrithik Roshan congratulated the potential in each and every one of them. He also made an example out of them. Rakesh Roshan saw an opportunity to use the hashtag ‘Kaabil’ perfectly and did not miss it. He also congratulated them with an impressive proverb at the end. Sanjay Gupta also congratulated the Indian team on their victory.
