The CEO of Adelaide Oval offers to host Virat Kohli’s wedding

In surprising events of a turnaround, Andrew Daniels, the CEO of Adelaide Oval is interested to host the wedding of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma at the iconic Stadium. The rumours of the duo tying the knot have been doing the rounds for last few days now and it was also reported that they will marry in Italy in this week. However, the kind offer of Andrew Daniels is surely a huge honour to the Indian skipper who has enjoyed batting at Adelaide Oval in Australia.

Virat smashed twin centuries the last time he strode out to bat in the Test match in Adelaide. The knock had also prompted the then skipper MS Dhoni to say that a stand in the stadium might be named after the 29-year-old. Recently, the ground also had wished him on his birthday last month in a unique way and had shared the image on its official Twitter handle. Though the offer is surely going to bring the smile on the face of Kohli as it first remains to be seen if Virushka (as their fans call them) is getting married.

Thrilled to host the wedding ceremony

Andrew Daniels was thrilled with the idea of hosting the wedding of the talismanic batsman Virat Kohli and his lady love Bollywood Diva Anushka Sharma. “We would be thrilled to host Virat and Anushka’s wedding at Adelaide Oval. How fantastic would it be for Virat to create more happy memories here, considering his outstanding playing history at the Oval,” he was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

He also promised that the wedding would only to add to the glorious memories of Kohli at the ground and their guests as well. “With 26 purpose-built function spaces to choose from, combined with a showcase of South Australia’s finest food and wine it would be an unforgettable day for the future Mr and Mrs Kohli and their guests,” he added.
