The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League has kicked off and in some fashion. The opening game of the competition saw two fierce rivals in the form of Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians taking on each other, with CSK coming victorious.

CSK have followed the opener with another close victory, against the in-form Kolkata Knight Riders at Chennai. It was a similar victory for the home side, in terms of the balls left at the end of the innings. Unlike the first game against MI, where they had lost nine wickets, CSK had lost only five wickets when they took home the game.

Not only the competition has picked up the pace between the sides, but also with their Twitter handles who look to outdo each other with humorous stuff. However, as things stand Chennai Super Kings have been pulling off some quick singles on the social media platform just like their skipper.

CSK’s conversation with Michael Vaughan on Twitter:

CSK’s Twitter conversation with former England skipper Michael Vaughan is the latest one that has caught the netizens by surprise. Vaughan, who is a part of the expert team for the Star Sports Select Zone, tweeted “Morning India ……” on the 10th of April.

An avid CSK Twitter handle, with a sense of wittiness and humour, replied “Good morning! But why are you wishing Jonty Rhode’s daughter?”

Twitterati could not hide their laughter after having gone through the conversation that the two had, with one of them saying “dhoni ka phone wapis kar de @virendersehwag.”

Another Twitter user went all out on the Twitter handle by saying “Should be banned for another year just for this poor joke!!”

The funniest of the tweets were when a Twitter user called out the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for tweeting from CSK’s twitter handle. Another user, casually asked the franchise to delete their Twitter handle, while the others brushed off the humour made by CSK’s twitter handle.
