Chris Green is a popular name in Australian domestic cricketing circles. The South African-born all-rounder has made a name for himself through T20 cricket. In fact, despite making his List ‘A’ debut back in 2014, Green has played just eight 50-over games in his career. Hence, he is a proper T20 player.

Green has featured in quite a few T20 leagues around the world, including the T20 Blast, Pakistan Super League (PSL) among others. However, he has never played in the IPL. Thus, this time around that may change and he may well be in line for an IPL debut. His performances in the CPL have dictated that too.

Playing for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, the off-spinning all-rounder has kept things very tight from his end. He has conceded runs at an economy of 6.29. Moreover, he has picked up 13 wickets which puts him third on the list of most wickets this season. Green can tonk the ball a long way too. Hence, he can be a pretty useful option.
