3.  New vice-captains to test players' responsibilities

Hardik Pandya will surely be elated as apart from leading the team in the T20I series, he will also be acting as Rohit Sharma’s deputy in the ODI series. As for the T20Is, the in-form Suryakumar Yadav has been named as the vice-captain.

This is the first time Suryakumar Yadav has been given a leadership role in the international setup. The 33-year-old has proved to be one of the key players for India and has played match-winning knocks time and again.

Hardik Pandya first led the team earlier this year against Ireland and was then recalled as skipper for the New Zealand T20Is. Under his captaincy, India hasn’t lost a T20I series, and thus his captaincy skills will be under the test again as he looks to extend his 100% winning record
