Here's Mumbai Indians' predicted XI against Sunrisers Hyderabad:

Openers: Ishan Kishan (wk), Rohit Sharma (c)

Despite being criticized for his performances with the bat in the ongoing campaign, skipper Rohit Sharma has shown glimpses of his aggressive hitting in few matches. However, inconsistency in his campaign is what has made him garner a lot of flak. In the previous match against Lucknow, the skipper got 37 off 25 balls, with three sixes and one boundary.

The explosive Ishan Kishan proved to be quite lethal in his last game against LSG as he hammered 59 off 39, with the help of eight fours and one six, at a strike rate of 151.28. He added 90 runs with Rohit for the opening wicket.

Middle Order: Suryakumar Yadav, Nehal Wadhera, Tim David

Suryakumar Yadav seems to have found his rhythm and has been able to score freely for the franchise in the ongoing season. In doing so, the swashbuckling right-hander has pushed himself in contention for the IPL Orange Cap as he has collected 486 runs in 13 appearances, with four half-centuries and one ton.

Nehal Wadhera has been a find for the five-time winners, especially in the middle-order. The batter has shown that he holds the capacity to pull off crucial runs single-handedly and can also raise vital stands during the crunch moments. Though he could only get 16 off 20 balls against LSG, he will be raring to come stronger and score big in the next game.

Tim David played a blazing knock against Lucknow as he remained unbeaten in his 19-ball 32, which included three maximums and one four. However, the batter was unable to clinch the crucial two points for his team after a poor show in the final over against Mohsin Khan.

All-rounder: Cameron Green

The star all-rounder Cameron Green failed to see Mumbai through to the finish line in the last match against Lucknow. He gave 16 runs in his two overs with the ball and was unable to perform with the bat as well. However, Green has been an integral part of the setup and has displayed his batting and bowling exploits on numerous occasions. He will look for an improved outing in the forthcoming match.

Bowlers: Hrithik Shokeen, Chris Jordan, Piyush Chawla, Jason Behrendorff, Akash Madhwal

Returning to the setup in the previous match against LSG, Hrithik Shokeen proved to be quite effective with the ball. The 22-year-old offie gave a mere 20 runs in his three overs at a solid economy of 6.66. Much like Shokeen, pacer Akash Madhwal challenged the LSG batting unit as he gave 30 runs in his four overs, at an economy of 7.50.

Veteran spinner Piyush Chawla, who is in the running for the IPL Purple Cap, claimed a solitary wicket in the previous outing for 26 runs in his three overs of the contest. Meanwhile, Jason Behrendorff returned two wickets in his four overs for 30 runs which proved to be instrumental for the side in the innings. However, Chris Jordan leaked 50 runs in his four with an economy of 12.50 and no breakthroughs. The bowlers will need to be more responsible and aim for a better performance against Hyderabad.
