7. Ish Sodhi (NZ)

Ish Sodhi has been a proven performer for New Zealand with the ball in the shortest format. The 29-year-old has made 76 appearances for his national side and taken 99 wickets at an economy of 8.02.

Sodhi has a wicket-taking ability and this makes him a vital cog in the New Zealand bowling lineup. His economy can be on the higher side at times but this is a trade-off for the number of breakthroughs he can offer.

The dimensions of the ground in Australia will suit Sodhi’s style of attacking bowling. He was a key figure in New Zealand's road to last year’s World Cup Final claiming nine wickets in seven games. This year too the Ludhiana-born will be the trump card for his team, especially in the middle-overs.
