2. Joseph Lucky (Costa Rica) - 60 years and 192 days:

Joseph Ramkellawan Lucky is one of the oldest players to feature in a T20I. Born on October 10, 1964, the Costa Rican cricketer took the field against Turks & Caicos Islands in Panama City on April 20, 2025, at the age of 60 years and 192 days.

This feat made him the second-oldest player to play T20I cricket, only behind Andrew Brownlee of the Falkland Islands. Lucky has batted twice and scored just a single run across four games. On the bowling front, he has bowled just one delivery and leaked nine runs.


1. Andrew Brownlee (Falkland Islands) - 62 years and 147 days

At 62 years and 147 days, Andrew Brownlee registered his name in history books as the oldest player to feature in a T20I. Representing the Falkland Islands, Brownlee made his debut against Costa Rica on March 10, 2025.

The all-rounder appeared in all three games of the historic series, which was also the Falkland Islands’ first-ever international outing, making them the 106th team to join the T20Is. He managed to score just six runs and bowled six balls without taking a wicket across three games.
