1. Sikandar Raza
Sikandar Raza is one of the greatest all-rounders that Zimbabwe cricket has produced. The 36-year-old has been a match-winner with bat and ball and his staggering T20 numbers tell the story. He has played a total of 146 games in the shortest format and amassed 2950 runs at a strike rate of 130.70. When it comes to bowling, he has taken 69 scalps an economy of 7.27.
When it comes to Raza‘s contribution to Zimbabwe in T20Is, he has piled up 1176 runs in 61 games at a strike rate of 129.51 and also taken 33 wickets for his side. Raza was simply brilliant in round one of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 and played a crucial role in the team’s qualification to the Super 12 stage. The veteran cricketer struck 136 runs at a strike rate of 172.15 and took five wickets at a stellar economy of 5.54.
This year has belonged to Raza and the ace all-rounder has been in the form of his life. The swashbuckling cricketer might not have got an IPL contract so far but it could well be at his doorstep.
