6. Virat Kohli- 8/10

Virat Kohli is one of the most pivotal players for India in this World Cup. The star India batter has scored 259 runs in four matches at a remarkable average of 129.50. In his maiden World Cup 2023 game against Australia, he played a scintillating 85-run knock off 116 deliveries and helped his team chase down 200 runs comfortably.
Against the Aussies, the batting legend strengthened the team not only as a batter but fielder also. Kohli, who was deployed at the slip, divided at his left in the third over of the match and assisted the paceman Jasprit Bumrah in getting rid of Mitchell Marsh on a six-ball duck.
The 34-year-old looked great on the field against Afghanistan again. Rohit Sharma hit the headlines for his extraordinary 131-run knock while Kohli also received appreciation for his unbeaten half-century and for taking the team home. Prior to the impressive fifty, the batting maestro looked disciplined as a fielder as well. In the first innings of the contest, he plucked the catch of Najibullah Zadran.
