3. Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja had a turbulent season in IPL 2022. After handing him captaincy by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) management, he was sacked from leadership duties mid-way through the tournament. The ace-batter had a poor outing with the bat as well and could accumulate only 116 runs in 10 matches with a strike rate of 118.37.

There were talks of Jadeja being unhappy with the management and the rift between the veteran all-rounder and the administration seemed to have grown of late. The 33-year-old will likely part ways with CSK and MI might look to latch onto this opportunity to sign him in the trading window.

The Saurashtra-born is arguably one of the best all-rounders in cricket across formats. MI can rope in the ace all-rounder to fulfill the role which Krunal Pandya earlier did for the side. The southpaw can play the role of a floater, can finish games for the side, and give crucial overs. Jadeja adds flexibility to the team and having someone of his caliber is any team’s dream.
