IPL 2023: 5 players who might be chased by both MI and CSK at auction

Both MI and CSK had a forgettable last season as they finished at the bottom of the table.

1. Sam Curran

Sam Curran is going through the best phase of his career - he was the Player of the Tournament in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 with 13 wickets at an incredible economy of 6.52 in six games. In 2023, he could be seen in the IPL after two years as he has submitted his name to participate in the upcoming auction.

Curran has set his base price at INR 2 crore, but given his last few outings, MI and CSK may collide at the auction table to get him into their teams. Just before the IPL auction, after releasing some experienced all-rounders, both teams are desperately looking for a player who could be valuable for them with the bat and ball.

The 24-year-old might fulfill their requirements as he possesses the capability to deliver with his bat and also give fine spells with the ball. In the past, he also featured in the league for Punjab Kings (2019) and Chennai Super Kings (2020 & 2021).
