9. Punjab Kings - 45 million dollars

Punjab Kings (formerly Kings XI Punjab till 2020) have not had much success in the cash-rich league. They qualified for the knockout round in the inaugural season and then reached the finals in 2014. However, apart from these two editions, PBKS have been quite mediocre with their performances and have failed to qualify for the knockout stages.

Due to Punjab’s inconsistent showings, they have not become as big a brand as they could have. However, they showed encouraging signs in the 15th edition of the lucrative T20 tournament. Though PBKS failed to qualify for the playoffs, they gave the rival teams a run for their money with their fearless style of cricket.

Punjab’s change in batting approach enhanced their fan following and their perceived value also increased by 24%. Presently, PBKS’ brand value stands at 45 million dollars. With the appointment of Trevor Bayliss as their new head coach, one can expect Shikhar Dhawan & co. to play with the same method. Therefore, there is a good chance of Punjab’s popularity rising with time.
