Mumbai Indians (MI) are the most successful team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), with five trophies in their cabinet. In the initial two seasons of the league, Mumbai came out as an underwhelming team but in 2010, they displayed their strength and ended their campaign as runners-up. In 2013, they won their maiden title under Rohit Sharma and since then, MI haven't looked back.

In their fabulous 15-year IPL journey, MI have picked and nurtured a few players that have broken into the Indian cricket team and rocked international cricket with their incredible talent. Playing for Mumbai, these players demonstrated their skills a lot of times.

With their magnificent shows in the T20 extravaganza, these names hit headlines and grabbed the attention of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Their loyalty towards MI in the popular T20 league proved fruitful as they got a chance to represent India in international cricket.

Let’s have a look at the top five Mumbai Indians (MI) finds that represented India in international cricket

5. Rahul Chahar

Rahul Chahar served Mumbai Indians (MI) from 2018-21 and took 41 wickets in 39 matches at an economy of 7.40. Playing in his second season for MI in 2019, the leg-break bowler displayed his talent and reinforced his side with 13 wickets in 13 matches at an economy of 6.55.

Following his performance in the IPL, the BCCI gave him a chance in the national squad against the West Indies for a three-match T20I series in the Caribbean in 2019. Since then, he has played six T20 Internationals (T20Is) for India, in which he has taken seven wickets at an economy of 7.59.

In 2021, Chahar made it to the 15-player India squad for the 2021 T20 World Cup but got only one game from the team management. Earlier, in July 2021, he also made his One-day International (ODI) debut against Sri Lanka in Colombo and picked up a three-wicket haul in a losing cause.
