8. Shafali Verma

Shafali Verma is known for her fearless brand of cricket and has taken down top-quality bowling attacks with her marauding bat in the international arena. The Haryana-born has featured in 21 ODIs and scored 531 runs at a strike rate of 83.62. When it comes to the shortest format, she has smashed 1231 runs in 51 matches for the Women in Blue at a strike rate of 134.53.

The flamboyant batter was also sensational in the recently culminated T20I series against Australia. Shafali hammered the Australian bowlers all across the park and scored 140 runs in five matches at a strike rate of 134.61.

Besides her batting might, Shafali is quite handy with the ball and is at times seen playing the role of a sixth bowler for the Women in Blue. Further, she has been showing her leadership credentials in the ongoing Under 19 Women's World Cup 2023 and so, gives a captaincy option to a team. Therefore, many franchises might ponder over signing the ace batter at the upcoming WPL auction.
