Nonkululeku Mlaba is an important member of the South Africa Women’s T20I team. Currently, she is holding the second position in ICC Women’s T20I rankings for bowlers. In July 2022, Mlaba drew attention as she took 3/22 (her best WT20I bowling figures) against England at Derby in a losing cause.

For the Women’s Premier League (WPL), she has submitted her name to go under the hammer with her base price of INR 30 lakh. However, going through her overall WT20I performance and starting amount, franchises might not show interest in her.

So far, the Protea cricketer has picked only 22 scalps in 27 WT20I games at an economy of 5.71. Talking about her performance on Indian soil, that too is unimpressive as she has hunted only two batters in five matches at an economy of 7.73.
