5. Harmanpreet Kaur

India has produced many match-winners but there have been hardly any of the calibers of Harmanpreet Kaur. She has featured in 124 ODIs and racked up 3322 runs at an average of 38.18. When it comes to the shortest format, the 34-year-old has accumulated 3058 runs in 151 matches for the Women in Blue.

Harmanpreet was simply sensational in the cash-rich league. She knocked the wind out of bowling attacks that came her way and smashed 281 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 135.09, which includes three half-centuries. Also, the Punjab-born was astute with her tactics on the field and inspired Mumbai Indians to the inaugural WPL title.

Harmanpreet displayed her batting prowess in the first match of Women’s Premier League 2023 against Gujarat Giants and obliterated the Gujarat bowlers with her power-hitting might. She smashed 65 runs off 30 deliveries to propel Mumbai to an intimidating total of 207 runs. Then in the final showdown against Delhi Capitals, the MI skipper played a high-pressure knock of 37 runs off 39 deliveries to take her team to a title triumph.
