Sophie Ecclestone has been a proven performer in the international circuit. The 23-year-old has featured in 55 ODIs and picked up 87 scalps at an economy of 3.68. Talking about the T20Is, the ace spinner has bagged 97 scalps in 70 T20Is at an economy of 5.76. Further, she is no muck with the bat and has provided vital knocks for England.

Ecclestone lit the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League with her astonishing bowling exploits. She was the joint highest wicket-taker of the competition along with Hayley Matthews, with 16 wickets under her belt in nine matches at an economy of 6.61. Also, she has played crucial cameos for UP Warriorz with the bat slotting in at lower down the order.

In a crunch game against Mumbai Indians in the 15th match of the marquee event, Ecclestone brought her A-game into play and tormented MI batters with her guile.
