After the historic first-ever auction of the Lanka Premier League 2023, the fourth season of Sri Lanka’s domestic T20 competition is all set to go underway from Sunday, July 30. A total of five teams will be seen participating in the T20 extravaganza and will lock horns with each other twice during the league stage. Teams will give their all in the league stage to finish on top of the LPL 2023 Points table.

Defending Champions Jaffna Kings will kickstart the season with a game against the last season’s runner-ups Colombo Strikers at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The cricketing stars will leave no stones unturned to entertain the fans across 24 matches which will come to a conclusion with the big final scheduled to be played on August 20. Apart from Colombo, the other stadium, Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, in Pallekele, will also be hosting eight matches of the season.

With the tournament just a few days away, the excitement among the fans is at its peak as they’re frantically looking to book the tickets to not miss out on the riveting cricketing action that the league has to offer.

LPL 2023: Tickets Price List

The tickets for the LPL 2023 season are already out on Book My Show as the window opened on July 23. The prices for Colombo range from LKR 150 – LKR 6500. On the other hand, in Pallekele it ranges from LKR 150 – LKR 5000. So far, the tickets have only been released for the league matches while the booking details for the knockout fixtures will be out soon.

How to book LPL 2023 tickets online and offline?

In order to book LPL 2023 tickets online, one can go to Sri Lanka Cricket’s official website or can search for the same on BookMyShow website. Meanwhile, there’s no information out regarding the offline booking of the tickets yet.

Steps for LPL 2023 Ticket booking online via BookMyShow

Step 1 – Visit Book My Show website or app

Step 2 – Select the match you want to book tickets for and click on "Book".

Step 3 – Select your preferred Stand and the number of tickets you want to book.

Note: One user can only book a maximum of ten tickets

Step 4 – Cross-check your selections and click on Proceed.

Step 5 – Make your payment by clicking on Proceed to Pay

Step 6 – Provide your Email and Mobile number if you aren’t logged in already and complete the payment. You can pay via QuickPay, Credit/Debit Card or Credit Voucher. 

Step 7 – Once your payment is successful, you will get a confirmation through email which should be presented at the pick-up counter to collect physical tickets. The cardholder (through which the payment is done) should also be present while collecting the tickets. In case the cardholder isn’t present, a photocopy of the card along with an authorization letter must be presented.
