Player of the Match Axar Patel speaks on his 3-fer

Axar Patel | Player of the Match: I was trying a lot of things when I was at home and it came out well today. I tried to stick to my strengths and wasn't really bothered even I had gotten hit and bowling stump-to-stump was the key to negate the dew factor. To stay attacking and be mentally strong is important as there is every chance to get hit in this format. When you go with an attitude to pick wickets, will feel much better. During the (injury) break I focussed on improving myself and add new variations to my bowling to remain successful at the highest level.

Suryakumar Yadav speaks on India's win

Suryakumar Yadav | Indian skipper: Other than toss, everything (went well). Boys showed character and that was most important for us. We spoke in the meeting before the game to go out and express yourself and be fearless. I always love putting Axar under pressure and the way he bowled was unbelievable. The plan (during the death overs) was to go for the yorkers and then see what happens.

Matthew Wade speaks after Australia's loss

Matthew Wade | Australian skipper: We just didn't play spin very well, lost a few little too wickets in the middle as well. The guys came in did a good job but unfortunately we couldn't do the job with the bat. Just to continue to learn from the guys who are already established in the team and to have depth in the squad is really key as the T20 World Cup is round the corner.

India (IND) and Australia (AUS) lock horns once more in the 4th T20I at Raipur's Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, aiming to tilt the series scales. India, with a 2-1 lead, eye a series clincher while Australia, riding high on confidence, seek to level the contest.

The 3rd T20I witnessed a breathtaking display from Glen Maxwell, where India's bowlers faltered, paving the way for Australia's nail-biting victory at Guwahati's Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Despite India's formidable 222-3, their bowling struggled against Maxwell's onslaught, allowing Australia to chase down an imposing 223-run target.

India, despite bowling woes, boast a robust batting lineup. Yashasvi Jaiswal, alongside Ruturaj, is one to watch, while skipper Suryakumar Yadav, a T20 maven, promises fireworks.  The return of Shreyas Iyer bolsters the middle order, potentially replacing Tilak Varma. Deepak Chahar joins India's squad for the final two games, showcasing strong form from the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Representing Rajasthan, he secured 10 wickets in 5 matches with an economy rate of 7.38, amplifying the bowling unit's potential.

Revamped Australian team sets sights on levelling series

Australia faces changes, bidding farewell to Maxwell, Sean Abbott, Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis, Steven Smith, and Adam Zampa, making way for Josh Philippe, Ben McDermott, Chris Green, and Ben Dwarshuis for the final two clashes. For the Aussies, Travis Head takes charge of the batting unit, showcasing exceptional form. His prowess on the flat track against India's bowling frailties could be decisive.

The addition of Josh Philippe, known for his explosive batting with a striking rate of 134, adds depth to their lineup. Meanwhile, Jason Behrendorff emerges as a key bowler for Australia, having impressed in the third T20I. With India eyeing series victory and Australia determined to stage a comeback, the upcoming encounter promises enthralling cricket. The battle between India's formidable batting and Australia's revamped lineup sets the stage for an exhilarating showdown at Raipur.
