After a record-breaking chase at the Wankhede, Mumbai Indians (MI) would like to turn the tables around as they square off against the Punjab kings (PBKS). Mumbai needs to win every game from now on in order to stay alive in the competition while Punjab Kings who are back to their den after a win over Chennai would be hoping to defeat Mumbai and add another two points to their tally.
MI once again showed how good is their batting as Suryakumar Yadav, Cameron Green, Tilak Verma, and Tim David put on a clinical performance which helped them in chasing down the Royalsβ total of 212 thanks to an outstanding hundred from the current IPL orange cap holder Yashasvi Jaiswal.
However, their bowling still looks bleak as bowlers find it difficult to provide breakthroughs apart from Piyush Chawla who is their highest wicket-taker this season. Jofra Archerβs fitness is a very crucial factor as the longer he plays the better chance of Mumbai improving their bowling worries.
