Australia will lock horns with England in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground with the series on line for the visitors. The first ODI proved to be a one-sided affair with the home side dictating proceedings for most of the game. England did show some fight with Dawid Malan’s century, however, they had to play catch up for most part in the game.
Australia will be worried about Marnus Labuschagne missing out on another good chance to seal his spot while the rest of the players were on the money throughout. As far as England are concerned, the likes of Moeen Ali and Sam Curran are likely to come back into the playing XI and their absence proved to be a giant hole.

AUS vs ENG Probable Top Performers
Probable best batter: Steve Smith
Steve Smith had a great outing in the first ODI and his slight change in the technique proved to be quite handy against England. The right-hander played a brisk innings without taking much time to settle in and remained unbeaten on 80 to take Australia home. Given that he is an excellent player of spin, Smith will hold the key for Australia in the second ODI.
Probable best bowler: Adam Zampa
Adam Zampa showed his world-class abilities in the first ODI as he mixed up his speeds quite well throughout his spell. He will cherish bowling at the SCG given that the track offers a bit of assistance for spinners. Zampa will be high on confidence after picking up three wickets in the first ODI.
