After suffering a 38-run defeat at the hands of England in the first T20I of the series, India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur stated that her team will come back stronger in the remaining matches. She also added that the team hasn’t played international cricket for a long time and hence, failed to get going. Hence, the team needs to improve a lot, especially the bowlers, who leaked a lot of runs in the last match. When it comes to batting, Shafali Verma was sensational while Harmanpreet and Richa Ghosh got the start but failed to capitalize.

England batters, on the other hand, were incredible. Nat Scive-Brunt hit 77 runs while Danielle Wyatt hit 75 runs. The bowlers too did a decent job and hence, the visiting team will be confident of getting the job done yet again and seal the three-match series.

Nat Sciver-Brunt (England):

The experienced campaigner was terrific in the last match and has a good record of playing in Mumbai. She can once again prove to be a massive threat and hence, the home team will have to make a solid plan to pick up her wicket. She is destructive in this format of the game and will be crucial for England in the second T20I as well.
