Ireland (IRE-W) and England (ENG-W) are all set to lock horns in the first ODI of the three-match series on Saturday, September 7, at the Civil Service Cricket Club, Stormont, in Belfast. The tourists are on a white ball tour and will be playing a three-match T20I series after the one-dayers. The series is part of the ICC Women's Championship 2022-25

The hosts are coming off a historic white-ball series win against Sri Lanka women last month. The island nation was on a tour to Ireland and lost the ODI series by a 2-1 margin. Arlene Kelly was named the player of the series for her performance with both ball and bat.

Meanwhile, the English side is also coming off a dominating performance, defeating New Zealand women in both the ODI and T20I series at home. The Three Lions completely outplayed the opposition and throughout the series kept the visitors on the backfoot.
