Pakistan will be facing England in the fourth T20I at the National Stadium in Karachi on Sunday, September 25. The hosts had staged a remarkable comeback in the second game with an outstanding 10-wicket victory courtesy of a world-record 203-run opening stand while chasing between skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan

However, they could not replicate a similar performance in the following game that saw the Men in Green suffer a top-order collapse and it was the middle-order sensation Shan Masood's valiant half-century that eventually reduced the margin of defeat for Pakistan.

England, on the other hand, were simply phenomenal in the last match as they first posted a mammoth 221/3 on the board after being put into bat first and their bowlers did an outstanding job in dominating the Pakistani batters on a perfect flat track that saw them fall short by 63 runs.

The English bowlers made the new ball do the talking exceptionally well as they accounted for Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan for just eight runs against their name. Haider Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed departed cheaply as Pakistan found themselves in a hopeless position being reduced to 28/4 inside the powerplay.

Pitch Report

The surface at the National Stadium is a highway track where runs are scored with ease and the batters will be hoping to make merry on this wicket and expect yet another high-scoring encounter with a score in excess of 200. However, after what happened in the last game, both teams might revisit their strategies and look to defend totals. Therefore, the captain winning the toss would be looking to bat first.

Probable Playing XIs:

Pakistan

Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Haider Ali, Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Usman Qadir, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Shahnawaz Dahani

England:

Philip Salt (wk), Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali (c), Sam Curran, David Willey, Luke Wood, Liam Dawson, Adil Rashid

Probable Best Performers

Probable Best Batter

Mohammad Rizwan:

Mohammad Rizwan might have failed in the last game where he was castled by Reece Topley early on during Pakistan's mammoth chase of 222. However, it remains to be noted that the top-ranked T20I batter has been their most consistent scorer in this series so far having registered two half-centuries. The hosts would be hoping that Rizwan plays yet another impactful knock in the next game.

Probable Best Bowler

Mark Wood:

Mark Wood would be hoping to continue from where he had left off in the last game where he went on to register a match-winning three-wicket haul. Wood made the ball do the talking outstandingly well on a perfectly flat wicket and accounted for the likes of Babar Azam, Haider Ali and Haris Rauf to finish with figures of 3/24 from his four overs at an economy of exactly six.
