Kent will take on Lancashire in the final of the Royal London One day Cup 2022 at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The Keaton Jennings-led side managed to beat Sussex in the semi finals on the back of a brilliant century from Dane Vilas and a spirited bowling attack sealed a victory for them to make it into the finals.

On the other hand, Joe Denly-led side cruised to victory in an excellent run chase against the Hampshire side in the semi final and Darren Stevens was the architect of the run chase. They still have some areas to improve ahead of the finals against Lancashire and this will be an interesting battle between two quality batting dominant sides.

Pitch Report:

The Trent Bridge in Nottingham is usually a high-scoring venue and batters will favour playing out there given the small boundaries and good conditions. The skipper winning the toss will be looking to chase down as the pitch stays almost the same throughout the game.

Dane Vilas had a terrific outing in the semi-final and he setup the victory for Lancashire with a big hundred in an important fixture. The right-hander scored 121 off 99 balls coming in at five, and hit eight fours and six sixes in his superlative knock. He will have a big role to play in the final if Lancashire had to win the trophy.
