Two of the most successful teams in this year’s Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers will lock horns against each other on Sunday, November 6 at Lilac Hill Park in Perth.
Coming after a win over league leaders Sydney Sixers, the Scorchers with a win can move to the top of the table while the Strikers with a win can move to the second spot in the league table. The strikers in their last match defeated the Melbourne Stars by five wickets and thus will back themselves to defeat the defending champions. Their bowlers were fantastic while Madeline Penna scripted a brilliant half-century to help the Strikers win the clash against Stars.
Scorchers, on the other hand, are one of the most consistent teams in the league. Be it their batting or their bowling, there are no such concerns at the moment. Beth Mooney completely stole the show in the previous match and can once again be a dangerous player in the middle. When it comes to bowling, Alana King has been tremendous so far. The leg-spinner picked up three wickets in the match against the Sixers.

Pitch Report:
The wicket at Lilac Park mostly favours the bowlers. The batters need to play extraordinary cricket to get going as the wicket mostly gets slower in the second innings. Thus, batting first will be ideal in the match.
