After a phenomenal 10-wicket win against Gujarat Giants in their previous match, Delhi Capitals Women (DEC-W) are now all set to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore Women (RCB-W) in the 11th match of WPL 2023 on March 13 at DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. Notably, the Smriti Mandhana-led side has lost all four games in the tournament so far and thus, can’t afford to lose again as they are on the verge of being eliminated.

Be it with the bat or with the ball, nothing has worked well so far for the Bangalore-based franchise and that’s a massive reason to worry about. They have signed some of the top-notch cricketers in the auction but hardly anyone of them has impressed so far. In their last match against UP Warriorz, they suffered a massive 10-wicket defeat and things are not looking well for the side. Thus, they need to strategise well and the senior players need to take a lot of responsibility as Bangalore desperately needs a win in order to stay alive in the competition .
Coming to Delhi, the Meg Lanning-led side has been pretty good so far. Other than their game against Mumbai Indians, they have managed to win all the other three matches and courtesy of which, they are currently second on the points table. Notably, in their first game of the season, they completely out-skilled RCB and won the match by 60 runs and thus, they know the recipe to win against Bangalore.
Meanwhile, in their last game against Gujarat, Shafali Verma (76* off 28 deliveries) returned back to form and that is a massive boost for the team. On the other hand, South Africa international Marizanne Kapp picked up a five-for and thus, the Delhi team are in much better shape than their opposition for Monday.
