The Ashes scoreline is currently 2-1 in favour of Australia with a game left. Pat Cummins' men retained the coveted Ashes urn after the fourth Test in Manchester ended in a draw. England had to settle for the heartbreaking end to the must-win tie as rain played spoilsport on the last two days of the Test match.

The fifth and final Test will be played between July 27-31. The encounter is scheduled to be held at the Kennington Oval in London. The home side has announced that they will retain the same squad that was there for the fourth Test.

Australia were the superior side in the first two games of the highly-anticipated series. However, England did not go down without a fight in the next two games. The hosts finally managed to pull one back at Headingley, winning the third Test by three wickets. They carried the momentum into the fourth Test and dominated proceedings from the get-go. They took an enormous 275-run lead in the first innings with about two-and-a-half-days to play. However, only 71 overs were bowled in that time as rain gods reigned supreme.

Ben Stokes urges fans to turn up and support the team in London

England can only level the Ashes now, and with the urn already out of reach, it could be tough for captain Ben Stokes to motivate his team for the fifth Test. However, the talismanic all-rounder said that they want to finish the series on a positive note and also asked the supporters to come out in numbers and cheer them on.

"We know what the last game means to us as a team, and we want to finish off on a high. Want the crowd to come out and support us," Stokes said in the post-match presentation.

England squad for Oval Test: Ben Stokes (capt), Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Jonny Bairstow, Stuart Broad, Harry Brook, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Dan Lawrence, Ollie Robinson, Joe Root, Josh Tongue, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood
