India A and Bangladesh A are slated to play two unofficial Tests starting November 29.

India A will lock horns with Bangladesh A in two unofficial Test matches slated to start from Tuesday, November 29 onwards in Bangladesh. The Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium will host the first unofficial Test between the two sides and will be played till December 2.

Abhimanyu Easwaran has been handed the leadership duties of the Indian side ahead of the red-ball series against the Bangla Tigers. Notable players such as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Navdeep Saini among others will feature for the Indian side alongside Upendra Yadav as the man in charge of wicket-keeping duties.

On the other hand, wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Mithun will lead Bangladesh A with Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mosaddek Hossain, and Shoriful Islam among others making the cut for the series.

The two sides last faced each other back in 2015 when India A emerged victorious as they won by an innings and 32 runs. India A will look to achieve a similar feat with a few players aiming to make an impression and make their case stronger for the senior team.

The match will act as a warm-up before the three-match ODI and two-match Test series featuring the senior teams from both sides. The unofficial Test series between the two sides will not have an official telecast, however, it will be live-streamed on Bangladesh Cricket's YouTube Channel.
