Current head coach of the Indian team, Gautam Gambhir, was spotted at Harsh Sanghvi's brother's wedding, interacting with his former teammate, MS Dhoni, and India's ODI skipper Rohit Sharma, among other cricketers.

Gambhir, who is known for being one of the most serious personalities in Indian cricket, seemed to be enjoying himself after meeting his old friends. Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and wicketkeeper-batter Parthiv Patel also graced the ceremony with their presence. Among active players, Tilak Varma was spotted. Dhoni's wife, Sakshi, also accompanied him to the star-studded ceremony.

Superstars from the Bollywood fraternity also attended the event. KL Rahul's father-in-law, Suniel Shetty, and Dilwale co-actors Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma were among the attendees.

The presence of cricket icons and Bollywood celebrities made the occasion memorable, not just for the ones involved but also for the public in general.

Gambhir is on a high after helping a young Indian team level a five-match Test series against England at 2-2 in the United Kingdom. Very few cricket enthusiasts gave the young Indian team, led by new captain Shubman Gill, a chance against the experienced England team helmed by Ben Stokes. However, the Men in Blue showcased commendable grit and determination to level the series.

This was the first time the two behemoths of world cricket battled it out for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. However, no team could get their hands around the coveted title. India's next assignment in international cricket is the Asia Cup, which will be hosted in the UAE in September. They will start their campaign on September 10 when they face the UAE at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
