The 32nd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 featured a thrilling clash between the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore and the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday, April 23.

During the 19th over of Rajasthan's innings, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj was spotted abusing Mahipal Lomror in frustration. As Rajasthan were reaching closer to the target, Dhruv Jurel went for a second run on the last delivery of the over and that is when Siraj hurled abuses towards Lomror who fielded the ball in the long on region.

After Siraj visibly abused Lomror on the field, the 29-year-old pacer apologised to the southpaw for the incident after the game. In a match review video posted on RCB’s official YouTube channel, Siraj revealed that he had already apologised to Lomror for the incident.

"I am so angry, man. Sorry. I have apologised to him twice already. I don’t carry the aggression off the field. It all calms down post the match," Siraj said in the video. Furthermore, Lomror accepted the apology, saying, "It’s alright, Siraj bhai. Such small things keep happening in such big matches."
