Virat Kohli is rigorously sweating it out in the nets as the Indian team is set for the two warm-up clashes against Australia and New Zealand as their final preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. The former India captain has been in great form lately and was rested for India's last two practice games against Western Australia.

The 33-year-old batter boasts impressive numbers in the T20 World Cup tournament. He has scored 845 runs in just 21 World Cup matches at an unbelievable average of 76.81 and is only 171 runs behind the all-time leading run-scorer Mahela Jayawardene.

My favorite cricketer is Virat Kohli and I want to play like him

Kohli remains one of the most followed cricketers in the world and young Indian fans fantasise to play like him. In a recent viral video on Twitter, a little girl from standard six in Ladakh amazed everyone with her batting skills and expressed her desire to play like Kohli.

"My father at home and my teacher at school encourage me to play cricket. I'll put all my efforts to play like Virat Kohli, Maqsooma student class 6th," the Directorate of School Education wrote on their official Twitter account.

Apart from Kohli, the former captain MS Dhoni remains one of the most popular sporting figures in India and Ladakh is no different. The little girl also revealed that she is learning how to play the helicopter shot, a trademark shot of Dhoni, and stated Kohli as her favorite cricketer.

"I have been playing cricket since childhood. I am still learning how to play Helicopter Shot. We also play for two runs but get tired and do not feel like running for another. My favorite cricketer is Virat Kohli and I want to play like him," she said.
