Virat Kohli shows off athletic abilities at the Chinnaswamy
Virat Kohli might have not had a Bengaluru homecoming to reminisce with the bat but had a ball while on the field. Karim Jannat took Washington Sundar down the ground towards long-on but Kohli's freakish athleticism forced the ball back into the field of play. ICC shared a perfect mirror image of Kohli-Bumrah that went viral.
Viral video: Rohit and Nabi argue during IND-AFG 3rd T20I
Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Nabi got into an argument when the latter decided to run overthrows after a Sanju Samson throw ricocheted off his legs. The two players, who are usually quite calm and composed, didn't hold back while arguing on the incident.

Fareed Ahmad strikes back, Rinku departs for a duck
No heroics from Rinku Singh in the Super Over. He swings hard but misses a widish delivery from Fareed Ahmad. Rahmanullah Gurbaz appeals for a caught-behind but the umpire doesn't give the decision in his favour. Afghanistan take the review and ultra-edge shows a spike as the ball is next to the southpaw's bat. Rinku departs for a golden duck.
6,4 to start from Rohit in Super Over 2
Ibrahim Zadran gave the ball to Fareed Ahmad to bowl the second Super Over. Rohit Sharma welcomes him with a six and a four to get India off to flying start.
Insane stuff! Super Over No. 2 incoming!
Yashasvi Jaiswal toe-ends a full delivery and gets only a single. Scores are tied in the first Super Over. We are going into another one. This time India bats first.
Confusion aplenty! Rohit walking off, in comes Rinku
With two runs required off the last ball, Rinku Singh comes out to replace Rohit Sharma because he is a quicker runner. Yashasvi Jaiswal is on strike.
Back-to-back sixes! Hitman on a roll
Omarzai goes outside off in his fourth ball. Rohit hits the low full-toss over cover for a maximum. The crowd is going crazy and they can't be blamed.
Rohit gets one just over the fence, India back in it
After the first two balls went for singles only, Rohit needed to get a boundary and he did so. Omarzai missed the yorker and Rohit just about clears deep mid-wicket to keep India in the hunt.
Rohit and Yashasvi walk out to bat for India. Can they do it?
Centurion Rohit Sharma has walked out to bat alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal. Azmatullah Omarzai has been trusted with bowling the Super Over. Afghanistan might be missing Rashid Khan here.
Controversy off the last ball, Afghans finish with 16
Mukesh Kumar bowls outside Nabi's hitting arc. The ball reaches Sanju Samson, who attempts a run-out at the striker's end. As Nabi was trying to complete the run, the ball ricocheted off his legs and went to Virat Kohli and at long on. Afghanistan take two runs on the overthrows. Indians are not happy as they feel Afghanistan shouldn't have run the overthrows as the ball hit Nabi and changed directions. In the end, the tourists end with 16 runs on the board. Stiff 17-run target for India.
SIX! Nabi goes big
Afghanistan get to double digits in the Super Over as Mohammad Nabi hits the fifth ball for a huge maximum.
Gurbaz gets streaky boundary off the third ball
Rahmanullah Gurbaz throws the kitchen sink at the third ball. The outside edge goes past short third man for a four.
Wicket to start the Super Over
Mukesh Kumar nails the yorker and an excellent bit of fielding from Virat Kohli runs out Gulbadin Naib at the striker's end. One off the first ball.
Breathtaking stuff as the 3rd T20I will be decided by Super Over
Mukesh Kumar is set to bowl the Super Over. Gulbadin Naib and Rahmanullah Gurbaz walk out for Afghanistan. The former will be on strike.

36 runs off the over. My goodness!!!!!!!
The last ball too has been sent into the high skies for a six by Rinku Singh to take the score to 212 for 4 at the end of 20 overs. It has been a sensational night for the two Indian batters tonight, and they've given Chinnaswamy crowd a run for their money. Special, really, really special.
Can't believe what we're seeing here!!!
Two sixes for Rinku Singh take the partnership to 184 off 99 balls. India bring up their 200 in style, and both the batters have been absolutely unbelievable.
Free Hit and SIX
Rohit Sharma hits a six to breach his highest score in T20Is. He is literally on fire tonight. The Afghan bowlers have surely got a taste of the HITMAN dish tonight. Clueless bowling here from the Afghans.
That lands on the roof!!!!
A no-ball, and a huge six by Rohit Sharma lands on the roof, and comes back on the field at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. He is in sensational touch tonight.
All hail down to the HITMAN
Rohit Sharma's merry run at the Chinnaswamy Stadium continues. That's his fifth hundred in T20I cricket. Reaching the landmark off just 64 balls, despite the hurdled start, this 37-year-old man has showed that he still has a lot left in him.
Imagine coming on the back of two ducks in the series, and converting your first runs into a century. That's how HITMAN has fared all his life. A hundred of the highest calibre, and Rohit Sharma silences all the critics with a sensational knock.

High and handsome!!!
A six followed by a boundary takes Rohit Sharma to 99*.
End of an excellent spell for Fareed Ahmad
Fareed Ahmad ends his excellent spell with three wickets to his name. He finishes with 4-0-20-3 in his first international outing at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
FOUR
Clipped to deep fine leg for a boundary by Rohit Sharma to bring the 150 up for India.
RECORD ALERT!!!
The ongoing partnership between Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh is now the highest fifth-wicket partnership for India. They've gone past the historic partnership between Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya at the MCG against T20 World Cup 2022 game against Pakistan. Both these partnerships will be remembered for their own reasons, and fans will surely cherish this.
Record-breaking sixer for Rohit Sharma
Yet another maximum for Rohit Sharma, and it takes him past Eoin Morgan to have most sixes in T20 Internationals as a captain. He's a six-hitting machine, isn't he?
Most sixes as captain in T20Is
Rohit Sharma (IND) - 87
Eoin Morgan (ENG) - 86
Aaron Finch (AUS) - 82
Rinku goes down the ground
A boundary for Rinku Singh takes him into the 40s now. The 100-run partnership is up between Rinku and Rohit, and they've been excellent for India tonight. They need to stay till the end.
Rohit Sharma engages in a discussion with the umpire
Rohit Sharma, who has had a hilarious moment with the umpire previously, was seen angry at the umpire, as he thought that the ball was much above the waist height, and yet it wasn't signalled a "No-Ball".
Even as the next overs begins, Rohit isn't amused, and he is genuinely disappointed with the decision. For all obvious reasons, he is allowed to get mad, but make sure he respects the umpire's decision, no matter whether it is in his favour or not.
Meanwhile, India have crossed the 100-run mark on the board, with the partnership in its 80s now. Projected score read around 170 at the moment, and a lot of that depends on how deep Rohit can take this knock to.
Fifty for Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma brings up his half-century with a boundary. This was again reverse swept by the ace batter to reach his first fifty after more than a year. He reached the milestone in just 41 balls, despite the hurdled start for the Men in Blue.
Rohit Sharma reaches his fifty in style. The HITMAN fever has taken over Chinnaswamy. #INDvsAFG #RohitSharma pic.twitter.com/4TLAbGFDMw

Rinku follows suit
Swept down the ground for a six, as Rinku Singh also feels its time he hits a few more. Excellent over for India already.
He's dealing in boundaries now
Swept, and the ball goes in the gap for a boundary on the first ball of the thirteenth over. The partnership is now into the 60s now.
The HITMAN has arrived in Chinnaswamy
Reverse sweep and Rohit Sharma hits his second sixer, and that shot was as sexy as it gets. Excellent batting from the Indian skipper. Another good over for India, as the Men in Blue are on a road to recovery.
Stand and deliver!!!
Rohit makes a little room for himself, as Ashraf has been pelted for a maximum over long on. Just got enough elevation on that, RO.
RECAP- Rinku Singh's flick that went for a maximum

End of 10 overs
61 for 4 is what the scoreboard reads. Rohit and Rinku are fighting it out in the middle currently. Their partnership is the most lasting one for India so far in this game. Will they able to take it to a big score for the Men in Blue. Let's find out soon, as players take Drinks break.
Rinku Singh depar..., or WAIT!!!
A huge appeal by Qais Ahmed, and umpire takes some time before finally raising his umpire. Rinku, however, is quick to signal "DRS", which enforces the umpires to go upstairs.
The review by a confident Rinku makes him survive at the crease, as the replay shows it has hit the bat on its way to the pads.
Take a look at Rinku Singh's DRS here:
SIX !!!
Another slower short ball by Mohammad Saleem, and Rohit swings his blade for his trademark pull shot. The balls sails into the stands for second six of the over. Excellent over for India.
Ravishing Rinku has arrived in Chinnaswamy
Rinku Singh flicks one off his pads for a six. He's not going to hold on for a long. That's the only way he knows to bat, and he succeeds.
End of the powerplay!!
India have scored runs at 5rpo in the first six overs, as Afghan bowlers have kept things really tight at the other end.
Welcome boundary for India
Rohit Sharma smashes the ball in the gap to get a boundary in the backward point region.
Rinku joins Rohit
Sanju Samson makes way for another left-handed batter, as Rinku Singh comes in at 6.
Oh No Sanju..!!!
Sanju Samson departs for a golden duck. He had a golden opportunity to go big tonight, but he falls prey to a short ball off Ahmad. Nabi takes another good high catch. India four down now.
Oh what a catch!!!!
Gurbaz takes a flying catch, as Shivam Dube finds and edge to depart for 1 off six balls. The man who shone in the first two games has been dismissed cheaply by Afghanistan. Omarzai gets the big wicket. And India are in deep trouble early on in the game. Three down within the powerplay itself.
Local hero Virat Kohli departs
Virat Kohli, the local star from Bangalore, has departed for a golden duck. The Chinnaswamy crowd is stunned, and this means that Ahmad is on a hat-trick with wickets of Jaiswal and Kohli off successive deliveries.
Rohit being Rohit
Rohit, who is yet to score his first runs of the series, was in shock after the umpire signalled that four as 'leg-byes'. In disbelief, he turned towards the umpire on the first ball of the second over.
In a hilarious conversation with Virender Sharma, Rohit said, "Arey Viru, Thigh Pad Diya Kya Pehle Ball? (Hey Viru, Did You Signal That First Ball Off The Pads?)". Umpire said 'Yes', to which the opening batter again said, "Itna Bada Bat Laga Yaar (I got a good piece of wood on that, man)".
Carrying forward the conversation, the Hitman said, "Pehle hi 2 zero ho gaye hain (I've already had a couple of ducks)".
The funny "thug life" moment of the Indian captain started to tickle the commentators a lot, and for obvious reasons. On air, Deep Das Gupta said that Rohit Sharma has the funniest conversations, be it on the field, or off it.

Eleven off the first
The first over goes for 11 runs, as two balls race away to the boundary off Rohit Sharma's pads (at least the umpire reckons so).
Rohit is still waiting to get off the mark
The four on the second ball came off the bat, but the umpire thinks otherwise. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma who got out for a duck in Mohali and Indore, is yet to make his first runs in the series.
Run straight away
Jaiswal opens his account with three runs off the first ball.
Ready, set, GO...!!!
Yashasvi Jaiswal has taken the strike, while Fareed Ahmad opens the bowling.

'Vijeet' Stats
Our correspondent Vijeet has brought in a very interesting stat.
Most whitewashes in a bilateral T20I series:
India - 8*; Pakistan - 8
This means that if India manage to win today's game against Afghanistan, they will become the team with most bilateral clean sweeps in the history of T20 internationals with a total of nine.
Again, Indian fans always get excited about these series wins, only to see their team lose in ICC knockouts, don't they?
Namaskara, Namma Bengaluru..!!!
Hello and welcome from Bengaluru for the final game of the three-match series between India and Afghanistan. The Indian team have outrightly dominated the Ibrahim Zadran-led side so far, having won both the games in Mohali and Indore, respectively. And hence, the game at M Chinnaswamy Stadium will be a dead rubber for the hosts, but it also gives them an opportunity to try new things, given the T20 World Cup 2024 coming up.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, have an opportunity to win their first-ever T20I clash against the Men in Blue, and escape a series sweep. There are a lot of positives to take back for the tourist side, though. Impressive batting by openers, despite not being able to convert their starts into big one. Additionally, all-rounders Gulbadin Naib and Mohammad Nabi delivered what they had been given the responsibility to.
Toss time is coming up soon, stay tuned for live, real-time updates, only on CricTracker.
India (IND) and Afghanistan (AFG) are all set to continue their ongoing T20I series by facing off in the third and final T20I at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday, January 17. The game will prove to be a formality for both sides, as the Indian team has already clinched the series after defeating the visitors in the first two T20Is of the series.
The second T20I of the series was played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, and Afghanistan batted first after losing the toss. After a brilliant knock by Gulbadin Naib (57 off 35) and some contributions from the middle order, the visitors managed to post a total of 172 runs on the board in the first innings.
Arshdeep Singh was the highest wicket-taker for India in the second game, with three wickets to his name. Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel took two wickets each, with Shivam Dube striking once.
Aiming to chase down a target of 173 runs, the Men in Blue put in a brilliant performance as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shuvam Dube scored 68 and 63* runs, respectively, and won the game by six wickets, clinching the series in the process.
Afghanistan aim to get a consolation win
Having lost the series 0-2, Afghanistan will hope for an improved performance in the upcoming clash in Bangalore. The side will look to go all out in the third T20I and get a consolation win with the T20 World Cup 2024 looming on the horizon.
The side shocked the world by winning four out of nine league matches in the ODI World Cup 2023, and they will look to take the same confident approach in the upcoming mega event as well.
