India defeated South Africa to script history on October 2, when the Men in Blue won the second T20I to claim an early series win. The upcoming third T20I at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore will be a dead rubber, but both teams would look to end on a high note. India would want a win to finish the series on 3-0 and complete a clean sweep before departing to Australia for their T20 World Cup preparations.

On the other hand, the Proteas would look to save themselves from a whitewash and win the final contest. Reports suggested that Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will be rested for the final game, which might be a piece of good news for South Africa as they aim for a win. The first game in Thiruvananthapuram went smoothly, with the Indian pacers winning the game for India.

The second game saw a cut-throat competition between India and South Africa at Guwahati. The Indian openers started on a high note, with Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav carrying the momentum forward thereon, which helped India post a mammoth total of 237/3. In reply, the Indian bowlers picked up three early wickets as South Africa received a major setback.

But Quinton de Kock and David Miller added a whopping 174 runs for the fourth wicket and took their side very close to a win before unfortunately falling short of 17 runs. Miller’s magnificent, unbeaten, century and De Kock’s unbeaten half-century went in vain as even after all his power-hitting prowess, the Indian bowlers managed to restrict them from chasing the total.

Here’s a look at how the weather will behave during the IND vs SA clash:

The third and final T20I of the series will be played at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. The humidity level is predicted to be about 91 percent, with the temperature in Indore hovering around 33 degrees Celsius. Rain won't cause any problems because there won't be much of it. It will be a humid evening in Indore with a wind speed of about 15 km/h.

The pitches at Holkar Stadium consistently bounce and carry the ball, which gives batters the confidence to execute their strokes smoothly. Pacers may initially experience some movement off the surface. The boundaries of the venue are relatively small, which could prove as a disadvantage to the bowlers.  This location has seen numerous high-scoring games in the past and the upcoming match is expected to be one such.
