IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals (DC) Schedule 2023, Time Table, Timings, Dates, Venues Details and PDF Download

The Delhi Capitals will be heading into the IPL 2023 without their captain Rishabh Pant, who met a near-fatal car accident in December 2022. The team have some big shoes to fill ahead of the season. They failed to qualify for the playoffs in 2022 finishing on the fifth position with 14 points to their name.

Meanwhile, the BCCI announced the schedule for IPL 2023 on February 17. The tournament will begin on March 31, with the Chennai Super Kings taking on Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The final of the tournament will also be played at the same venue, May 28.

A total of 74 matches will be played across 12 venues all over India. Delhi Capitals are placed in Group A along with Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. Notably, the teams in the same group will face each other twice, while they will meet teams from the other group once in the tournament. Delhi will kick off their campaign against Lucknow Super Giants on April 1 in Lucknow.

Delhi added several players to their arsenal during the mini-auction in December 2022. To add firepower to their bowling, they bought fast bowler Ishant Sharma for INR 50 lakh and Bengal seamer Mukesh Kumar for a whopping INR 5.5 crore. In the batting department, they bought in Manish Pandey (INR 2.4 crore), Phil Salt (INR 2 crore) and Rilee Rossouw (INR 4.60 crore).
