The Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is set to join the commentary broadcast panel for the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The actor is known for his love of cricket and will participate in the pre-match shows of Qualifier 2 on June 1 and the Finals on June 3. Both the high-octane matches are set to be played at the gigantic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
He will also be joined by popular pan-India actress Genelia D’Souza and the rest of the cast of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par in the broadcast on Star Sports and JioHotstar for the promotion of the film. Known as Mr. Perfectionist, he will also be part of the commentary box and will make his on-air debut during the last couple of clashes of the 18th edition.
The inclusion of the famous actor will give a big promotion and will bring a new angle to the high-stakes showdown. The Bollywood legend is also expected to be part of the pre-match build-ups, match predictions, and engage in analysis alongside cricket experts and former IPL players.

Aamir expressed excitement about being part of the playoffs coverage. He further went on to admit that the pressure and energy of the IPL Playoffs matches are heavier and stated he is thrilled to be part of the action. He also mentioned the upcoming games will provide nail-biting entertainment and is eager to present his perspective from the commentary box.
Speaking about the clash, Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Qualifier 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. This will be a knockout clash and the winner of the match will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Finals on June 3. With the inclusion of Aamir, the final clashes will be exciting and will light up the closing of the cash-rich league as Bollywood coincides with Cricket - two of the most popular industries in the country.
