“We always try to take the aggressive option, I just got a few nice half-volleys early on which I was lucky to put away. After that start, we were looking for a really big score and I think Netherlands bowled really well in the middle to restrict us and then Ben Stokes played a fantastic knock with Woaksey to get us to a good score. Personally I was like, 'oh no, not again' (at 178/5). But once again Stokesy stood up and got us to a score that we're really happy with. To be a good international cricketer, you have to be able to soak up pressure when it's needed. He soaks up pressure unbelievably well and he's able to transfer the pressure when needed,” Malan said.
