The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has been quite vocal in his recent interviews. The former cricketer recently had a sharp exchange of words with a TV anchor, pointing out that Indian fans were happy even after their team could not reach the finals of the recently concluded Asia Cup, because Virat Kohli ended his long-running century drought in the tournament.

Kohli stroked a century against Afghanistan, but he also had some close moments on the field where he could have been dismissed. In the interview, Raja pointed out that four catches of Kohli were dropped during the innings against Afghanistan, but no Indian fan spoke about that.

If a Pakistani batter scores a century why isn't it run in that fashion in the media? Questioned Ramiz

Giving a sharp response to Raja's comment, an anchor on Samaa TV said: "That is because Kohli hadn't scored his 71st (international) century for three years. Or else it wouldn't have been that important."

Raja replied: "What are you talking about? Four of his catches in that match were dropped, that too against a team like Afghanistan. And my point is that, if a Pakistani batter scores a century why isn't it run in that fashion in the media?"

The anchor again countered Ramiz saying, "Unn chaar catches chhootne ko toh main kudrat ka nizam kahungi (I would call those four dropped catches as laws of nature) because this 'kudrat ka nizam' is very famous these days."

The term 'kudrat ka nizam' was recently used by Pakistan's head coach Saqlain Mushtaq after their series loss against England. Meanwhile, Pakistan suffered their first defeat in the tri-series against New Zealand on October 11 (Tuesday) as the Kiwi side restricted them to a low score and then chased down the total after losing just one wicket.
