He asserted that his country would win the game, suggesting that they are well prepared for the Test, giving them an advantage over India.

"I think it all comes down to preparation, that is going to be the difference in this game. Australia have got the advantage because most of their players were preparing for the longer format and that is why I think they are going to win this Test," Hogg said on his YouTube channel.

Indian players were busy in the IPL 2023 ahead of the WTC Final 2023 from March 31 to May 28. In contrast, numerous Australian players who are competing in the WTC final, like Pat Cummins and Steve Smith were busy preparing for the ICC event and Ashes 2023.
