Star all-rounder Sikandar Raza was recently announced as the new skipper of Zimbabwe in the T20I format. After the side’s recent loss in the T20I series against Namibia, Zimbabwe Cricket aimed to make some changes in the leadership.
The change comes with the side looking to book a berth for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, which is slated to be held in the USA and the West Indies, next year. Furthermore, Dave Houghton was also retained as the head coach in an attempt to maintain continuity.
