The Hundred 2023 Player Draft: Schedule, Live Streaming, Broadcasters & All you need to know

The Hundred is back with its third edition as the all-exciting tournament is set to kickstart on Tuesday, August 1. Defending champions of the Men’s Hundred, Trent Rockets will square off against 2021 champions Southern Brave at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

On the other hand, the same two sides will play the curtain raiser in the Women’s Hundred this edition in a recap of last edition’s Eliminator match. Notably, this will be the first time that a women’s Draft will take place alongside the men’s since the tournament's inception in 2021.

As the road to the extravagant event begins, the draft process for both men’s and women’s teams will take place on Thursday, March 23. As many as 64 players will be drafted, which includes the names of 34 female and 30 male cricketers in the list.

The men’s overseas players list includes the likes of top-draw cricketers such as Pakistan’s Babar Azam, New Zealand pacer Trent Boult, Andre Russell, and Kieron Pollard among others. Sophia Dunkley, India flamboyant batter Jemimah Rodrigues, Laura Wolvaardt, and Kate Cross are among other high-profile names in the women’s draft.

On February 16, the eight teams confirmed the players they wished to retain for the 2023 season in their men's and women's squads. As a result, the teams finalised on how many openings they would have to fill in the draft as confirmed on ‘Deadline Day’. The tournament will see a total of 34 games played each in the men’s and women’s Hundred. The final will be played on the same day, August 27 at the iconic Lord’s in London.
