I don’t believe in last-minute things: Rohit Sharma
India and Pakistan faced each other twice in the recently concluded 2022 Asia Cup where Rohit Sharma's men won the group-stage fixture but lost the crucial Super Four clash. India won the white-ball series against Australia and South Africa at home and also overcame Australia's challenge at Gabba in their first warm-up game. But, they will be facing a tough challenge against Pakistan, who won the recent T20I Tri-Series in New Zealand to boost their preparation ahead of the big India clash.
Inconsistent bowling performance has been a big headache for Indian management and captain lately but Rohit is confident in India's chances against Pakistan. He also confirmed that he has already decided on his starting eleven for the big clash and doesn't want to make any last-minute changes.
“I don’t believe in last-minute decisions. We want to keep our boys informed about team selection before so that they can prepare early. I already have my XI for the Pakistan match. Already, those players are informed. I don’t believe in last-minute things. I want them to prepare well,” Rohit said in press conference ahead of T20 WC.
